Today was the last day of the quarter.  I will accept missing assignments up until 8:00 AM tomorrow morning.  Students went on to Skyward and are aware of what is missing.

Language Arts:  Greek Root packet is due tomorrow.  If you forgot it at school, go into classroom and print yourself a new one.

Reading:  In classroom, there is a reading called Holocaust and WWII.  Read it. DO NOT do the comprehension questions yet!

Language Arts:  Some students did not do well on their text structure quiz.  A retake will be given Thursday.  We also started talking about our problem and solution essay that we will begin tomorrow.  Students should have a topic decided.

Root Word packet #1 due Thursday.

Reading:  Students finished the Nazi Propaganda worksheet.

SS:  We began ancient Egypt today.  Kids worked on their vocabulary slides found in the Google Classroom.

Language Arts:  Text Structure worksheet is due Tuesday and the Greek Root Packet #1 is due on Thursday.  There will be a quiz on these words.  Both of these can be found in students' Google Classroom.  I cannot post them here due to copy write laws.

Reading:  Students are to complete the Nazi Propaganda Poster worksheets using the posters found in Google Classroom.

SS:  If you were absent today, you will be taking the SS test in your next Targeted Support.  Students will be needing a shoe box for a project, so start searching... or buying shoes 🙂

I did not assign any homework today.  We are currently working on Text Structures in L.A.  If you were absent, I would like you to do the Life Cycle of a Butterfly packet that you received last week.

The Reading emphasis is finding main ideas and supporting details.

Students worked on their Hanging Gardens of Babylon posters today.  They will have one more work day before they are due.  Some students are a bit behind due to their choice to socialize more than work.

Language Arts:  Vocab packet is due on Wednesday and there will be a quiz on the words.

Reading:  Students are to complete the Character Traits Level-Up Tutorial found at my.hrw.com.  Once they are logged in, they click on student resources >level-up tutorials>explore tutorials>click the 3 little bars in upper left hand corner> choose Analyzing Literature>pick Character Traits.  This is due Wednesday.
