Why does the boy call the Wonder Horse "Mago"? The boy calls the horse Mago because it means "magician" or "wizard". Many people believe that the horse is magical because he has not been captured before. It says that he dissolves into mist."

What makes the Wonder Horse indomitable? The Wonder Horse is indomitable because he did everything that he could to escape. He wanted his freedom so much that he was willing to hurt himself, even if it meant pain or danger. He broke through the barbed wire, so his desire showed his strong will.
